The UVa Global Health Case Competition brings together students from across the University’s undergraduate and graduate schools to dream up relevant strategies to challenging global health issues. Interdisciplinary teams are assigned the case on a Monday and have one week to deliberate, strategize, and innovate on a given global health issue. The following Saturday, teams present their work to a group of esteemed judges.
Schedule:
Monday 11/3, 1:00-2:00: PM Brown Bag Lunch and Open Table discussion on approaching global health projects at OpenGrounds
Monday 11/3, 5 PM: Cases released to participants via email
Tuesday 11/4 – Thursday 11/6: Mentorship available via Piazza site
Friday 11/7: Pre-competition social. Location TBA.
Saturday 11/8, 12:00-6:00: Competition Date! Details of schedule TBA
