Mental Health Counselor Position
Description: This position is a paraprofessional position working with adults. This
position is responsible for providing Mental Health skill building
training and mentoring for clients in the mental health support service
programs. Services are provided in the home and community setting.
Qualifications:The successful candidate must have a minimum of an associate’s degree in
a human service field or have college credits equivalent to an
associate’s degree. This position also requires an minimum of 1+ years’
experience doing direct clinical care for clients or patients who have
been diagnosed with a mental illness. Experience can include
internships, practicums and volunteer experience.
