American Living Organ Fund Internship

The American Living Organ Fund, a 501(c)(3) that advocates for living organ donors, is looking for 1 - 2 enterprising interns to help work on a user friendly information page to help kidney and liver donors assess and deal with possible medical complications.

This is a volunteer cyber internship where researchers work remotely. Hours are flexible but researchers are expected to spend about 10 hours per week working on the project.

Desired qualifications:
  • completion of at least 2 years of college
  • strong research and writing skills
  • willingness to wade through government medical data reports and medical journal articles in search of relevant information
Interns will work directly with the ALODF's co-founder and president Sigrid Fry-Revere. Those who successfully complete their internships will be listed as authors on the project page.

Two positions will remain open until filled and work on the project will begin immeidately. The preferred length of commitment is from acceptance until May 2018, however there will be an option to continue through the summer if desired.

A sample rough beginning for the project can be found here.

This is a volunteer position.  To apply, send your resume and a brief explanation of your interest in the position to sigrid@alodf.org
