University Internship Program 2017-2018

The University Internship Program (UIP) is an interdisciplinary program that coordinates and administers the academic and administrative components of internships for UVA students in more than 50 undergraduate majors and concentrations in mainly the College of Arts and Sciences but also include students from other schools.

The UIP combines academic instruction and work experience in an applied setting under the supervision of UIP liaisons, faculty members, and field supervisors. UIP field placement allows students to gain closely monitored, career related, major related, and/or interest-related experiences beyond the classroom setting. There are many different internships for different fields, including health-related opportunities!

Interested in a summer 2017 or Academic Year 2017-18 Internship? Applications will open in November 2016.
