Richmond Ear Nose & Throat Scribe Position


Richmond Ear Nose and Throat is now accepting applications for a medical scribe to replace employees who will be matriculating to medical and PA schools in the summer of 2016. 

This is an opportunity for aspiring pre-medical or pre-PA student to work side-by-side with physicians and nurse practitioners. All training is provided on the job. Duties include: 

  • Obtaining vital signs and initial medical history
  • Documenting the history and physical examination as it unfolds with the provider
  • Documenting the assessment and plan as the provider describes the plan to the patient
There will be occasional opportunities to assist with minor surgery and office procedures. 

This is a full time job, approximately 40 hours per week. A bachelor's degree or significant prior medical experience, and a minimum one year commitment are expected. Impeccable grammar, spelling and exceptional typing skills are required.
