UVA in the Dominican Republic

We'll explore pressing global health issues & international research collaboration, working with faculty and students at the School of Medicine at UNIBE. Through a combination of small group work, field trips, service projects, and lectures, we'll investigate the topics of diabetes & nutrition, road traffic accidents, maternal mortality, health research methodology, and community engagement. Our time will be divided between three very different areas of the country.
