Camp Holiday Trails, a nonprofit residential camp for kids with special medical needs and chronic illnesses, is seeking camp counselors for June 7 – August 14, 2015. Located in Charlottesville, VA, this camp desires fun-loving role models who want to make a positive difference in the lives of children. Desired applicants are passionate and experienced in one or more of the following areas : challenge course, athletics, art, nature, archery, fun science experiments, swimming, lifeguarding, and horseback riding. This rewarding, memorable, and FUN environment is great for students seeking experience in healthcare, education, child development, and human services.

Camp Holiday Trails empowers, encourages, and educates children with chronic illnesses, their families, and healthcare professionals through traditional camp programs aimed at personal growth.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must be 18 years of age or older (preferred to be one year out of high school) with a minimum of 2 years experience in camps, child development or working with children with special needs.
- Must be mature, professional and attentive to needs of Campers.
- Must have strong team ethic, sense of responsibility, and ability to manage daily stresses of working with children with special needs.
