Sixty percent of people say that making sure their family is not burdened by tough decisions is “extremely important”, while 56% have not communicated their end-of-life wishes. One conversation can make all the difference. It is not easy to talk about how you want the end of your life to be. But it is one of the most important conversations you can have with your loved ones. This is not just about filling out Advance Directives or other medical forms. It is about talking to your loved ones about what you or they want for end-of-life care. Please join PhD student Karen Moss, MSN, RN, CNL, Cindy Westley, RN CNL, a Patient & Family Education Coordinator at the UVA Health System, and Suzanne Hilton Smith, MCM, a Chaplain at Martha Jefferson Hospital, for a Flash! Dinner on the topic of end-of-life decision making. Sign up here.
