Asthma Studies: Participants Needed
Volunteers (19-40 years old) are needed for a study about asthma and the common cold. You must have asthma and not smoke. The screening involves two visits ($40 for each visit). UVa Radiology Research seeks adults ages 18 and older with asthma for a research study. The study looks at air movement in your lungs using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) with xenon gas. Study includes spirometry, 6-minute walk, electrocardiogram, physical exam, nuclear medicine scan, finger stick, and MRI with xenon. Study requires on to three visits about two to three hours each.
