Southeast Medical Scientist Symposium - August 23-24

The Southeast Medical Scientist Symposium (SEMSS) is an annual meeting sponsored by the Medical Scientist Training Programs of Emory University, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Vanderbilt. It is designed to encourage collaboration and discussion between students from across the Southeastern region with a common interest in medically oriented research. This year's SEMSS theme is entrepreneurialism as it relates to translation medicine. It will be held:

Registration is $20


There are special travel awards for undergraduate students. The deadline to apply for an undergraduate student travel award is July 27 ($175 used to offset registration, housing, and travel expenses). If you would like to present your research to SEMSS attendees, please submit a presentation abstract by Wednesday, August 6th.
