The Muscular Dystrophy Association is still seeking male volunteer camp counselors for its 59th annual MDA Summer Camp, to be held June 7th-13th
in Wakefield Virginia. MDA Summer Camp is a week-long, overnight
camp where children with neuromuscular diseases take part in activities
such as swimming, arts & crafts, adaptive sporting activities, and
many other fun social events. Adult volunteers are paired with campers
on a 1-to-1 basis, making the camp experience
fun and accessible for all children, no matter the physical
disabilities.
