Jefferson
Medical College is hosting an informational meeting on Friday May 9, 2014
(10:00 AM – 2:00 PM) for pre-medical students who are interested in the rural
Physician Shortage Area Program (PSAP).
This meeting will take place on Jefferson’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
campus, and is specifically geared for those students and graduates:
- who have grown up or lived in a small town or rural area (i.e. not urban and not suburban), and who are also
- committed to practicing in a small town or rural area (not necessarily their home town).

During this day,
more specific information will be provided regarding the PSAP and the
admissions process – and will have an opportunity to meet with faculty and
students involved in the program. Lunch
will be provided, and a campus tour will be offered after the meeting for those
who are interested.
