Here are the details:
WHAT: SAEP is an inter-professional program designed to simulate the first year of a health profession program. Upon completion of the program, participants will have the tools that will help them assess their strengths and weaknesses in regards to successful application and matriculation into a health professions school.
WHO: SAEP is geared towards junior and senior undergraduate students, and
post-baccalaureate students who are actively pursuing enrollment into dental,
medical, pharmacy, or physical therapy school. Preference is given to
those of a disadvantaged (educational, social, or economic) background.
WHEN: SAEP is a six-week program (May 21, 2014 – July 2, 2014).
Students are required to attend the full program.
WHERE: SAEP will take place on VCU’s MCV campus in Richmond, Virginia.
Housing will be provided in Cabaniss Hall.
HOW: Students should apply online at www.dhsd.vcu.edu between November 1, 2013 – February 15,
2014. In addition to the online application, students are required to
submit official college transcripts and two letters of reference.
