programs to support international students. You will

One particular program, HOOSucceed, is hosting an
event with McIntire and is open to all International Students:
HOOSucceed In Off-Grounds Employment

International students interested in obtaining
employment in the U.S. need to understand the regulatory restrictions
and how they can obtain authorization to work. This session will address
employment issues for international students and
the process for gaining work authorization during a student’s course of
study and after graduation. Immigration Attorney Mark Rhoads and
Richard Tansen of UVA's ISO will address OPT/CPT and H1B processes for
international students. This event is part of the
International Workshop Series at McIntire.
