KIDS V CANCER is a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C.
that promotes pediatric cancer research by identifying structural
impediments at key junctures in the research process – new drugs, tissue
donation and access to funding – and developing strategies to address them. Our
goal is to help scientists develop new drugs, secure tissue for research, and

Position description:
We are seeking a full-time Research Associate with a background
in science or public health with an interest in working in health policy. The
Research Associate will work on various projects involving pediatric oncology
drug development. This will involve conducting research using various
databases, compiling relevant information, and writing reports. The Research
Associate will also assist the Director with a diverse array of other projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
Proven research, proofreading, and data collections skills.
Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and
interpersonal skills
Highly motivated, focused, and able to work with minimal
supervision
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
simultaneously in a professional, conscientious manner within time constraints
