billion people in the world living in extreme
poverty.
That's 1.4 billion people living on less than $1.25 a day.
UNICEF at UVa partners with Asha for Education at UVa, MEDLIFE, U.N. Women at UVA, charity: water, FACE AIDS and GlobeMed at UVa in welcoming the Global
Poverty Project to the University of Virginia on Wednesday,
February 13th at 7 PM in Nau 101. We will explore what it means to
live in extreme poverty and address barriers to achieving development
outcomes. And yes, we’ll have free food.
