What is the Diversity Digest?: Opportunities sent out via email designed to attract students from diverse backgrounds, bilingual students, cultural studies majors and those with an interest in social justice into fields or organizations where they are underrepresented or are needed to serve a particular community. These updates include diversity-related career events around Grounds, as well as, internships, leadership programs, and scholarships sponsored by employers.
Past: There used to be two ways to sign-up to receive this information:
a) Subscribing through a CAVLink profile
b) Subscribing to a UVa listserv
Present: In an effort to encourage more students to create CAVLink accounts and to be able to easily maintain an updated database, Diversity Digest will ONLY utilize the subscription through CAVLink.
How often will the Diversity Digest go out?: Biweekly on Tuesdays (starting tomorrow 9/18) or possibly weekly if the need arises.
How can students sign-up?: If you would like to SUBSCRIBE to the Diversity Digest, please complete the following steps:
1) Log into your CAVLink account: https://virginia-csm.
2) Select "Profile"
3) Select "Edit" under the "Academic" section of your profile
4) Scroll down to "Subscribe to the Diversity Digest" at the bottom of the page and change your response to “Yes"
5) Select "Save Changes"
