Unite For Sight

Interested in getting international health volunteer experience or simply want to know more about public health issues?

International physician Dr. Seth Wanye will be visiting UVA on Thursday November 10th 8:30-9:30 PM in the Chemistry Bldg rm 304 to lecture on public health, social entrepreneurship and his experiences conducting a highly successful venture against preventable blindness in West Africa. A native Ghanaian, Dr. Wanye is the only ophthalmologist for over 2 million people in Northern Ghana and is partnering with the American NGO “Unite For Sight” to educate students and promote his cause.
