Join a Well Child International team in Belize, Costa Rica, or Nicaragua over Winter Break:
December 13-22 in Belize
December 27-January 7 in Nicaragua

January 7-14 in Costa Rica
Well Child International teams consist of women only, allowing for a greater degree of ease among women in need of health care. Both students and health professionals are encouraged to participate. Teams focus on providing well child exams, addressing acute health issues of children 15 years and younger and assisting medical professionals in providing prenatal and OB/GYN care.
Because we believe that education is the only means of making a sustainable difference, health education is an important component of Well Child International. Team members will be involved in providing health education on topics such as breast feeding, child nutrition, and family planning.
Our mission
ISL strives to enhance academic learning through service experience while providing quality health care and other services to the underserved. We utilize in-country professionals and offer practical experience through programs which observe the highest level of ethical standards and inspire students to a lifestyle of service.
