The Overlook Summer Internship Program (Summit, NJ) provides college students the opportunity to learn about the medical field from a personal perspective. To that end, each day of the four-week program involves a different individual preceptor (in varying fields) so that the students may understand what life is like in that particular specialty. There are morning lectures by a different professional each day and Friday afternoons involve a conference where the Medical director discusses a topic of interest to the students and encourages them to share their experiences with one another.
This is a very competitive program, with about 75 applicants for only 15 positions. If you are interested in applying for the June 2012 program, the application deadline is February 1, 2012.

Submit the following by February 1 via email only:
- A personal statement (300 words or less) describing your interest in the program
- Current college transcript
- Two letters of recommendation
