A:  The UVA-Guatemala Initiative is again offering an interdisciplinary global health course in Guatemala from January 2nd-16th, 2012.  Taught by Dr. David R Burt and other UVA faculty, your will spend two weeks in Guatemala learning about all aspects of public health in this fascinating country.  Visit Lake Atitlan and the Peten jungle.  Tour the Highlands of Guatemala and Tikal.  Spend 16 days with students from Guatemala.  Practice your Spanish ...or start learning Spanish!
