The University of Pittsburgh seeks talented and motivated students who
possess an interest in studying medicine. The University of Pittsburgh
School of Medicine would like to invite you to participate in our seven
week Summer Premedical Academic Enrichment Program (SPAEP) Level I or
II. This summer program is open to college sophomores, juniors and
beginning seniors. The program is designed specifically to prepare and
support students who wish to pursue careers in the field of medicine.

The Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) provides an intensive 10-week research experience designed to help
undergraduates perform outstanding cutting edge research at Pitt.
Students are matched with research mentors, participate in weekly
seminars and lab meetings and conduct laboratory based research.
Housing in a modern University dormitory is provided along with social
activities that enable students to enjoy life in Pittsburgh. At the
program's conclusion all students write up their work and give
presentations on their projects.
