Join
the UVA Volunteers Around the World medical outreach program if you are
interested in running a two week mobile medical clinic in the Dominican Republic
during the summer of 2019!
As
a team member, you will have the opportunity to shadow medical professionals,
work side-by-side with experienced doctors, perform triage, manage the
pharmacy, and teach public health classes to children or teens. You will
also have free time to travel in the host country, experience a new culture,
and build amazing relationships!
Multiple leadership positions will also be available to volunteers.
Requirements for application
No experience is necessary. Applications are considered on a first come first served basis.
