The University of Maryland Department of Ophthalmology is currently looking to fill a clinical research coordinator position for June 2016 - June 2017. The position will deal with all aspects of clinical research in the department including, but not limited to patient recruitment, regulatory issues, research administration, and will require direct patient contact for patients enrolled in clinical trials. This position may be appropriate for a student taking a bridge year after college before matriculation to a health profesisonal program. It will involve numerous opportunities for publication. The Department hopes to interview for this position within the coming weeks.
