Hours: Monday – Friday (9a-5p; 37.5 hours/ week)

We are seeking an undergraduate Research Assistant to help execute one or more research studies that identify biomarkers for Parkinson disease. Successful applicants will be personable, detail oriented, well organized, and dedicated to helping patients with diverse needs. The undergraduate Research Assistant will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and Study Coordinators to help prepare for and conduct research study visits. Prospective applicants must demonstrate excellent time management skills by effectively prioritizing and working on multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines. Applicants must also have strong communication skills and be able to collaborate with the whole research team.

Administer 10-min neuropsychological test
Process biological specimens, including blood, urine and cerebrospinal fluid
Enter data into electronic database(s)
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Organize and file participant records
Prepare and maintain study materials
Manage and update inventory of biological samples
Education: high school diploma; some college
